Dubuque sits along the Mississippi River in northeastern Iowa, where steep limestone bluffs rise above a broad river corridor. The city is Iowa’s oldest incorporated community and developed around river commerce, lead mining, manufacturing, and trade. Its historic downtown contains preserved brick buildings, churches, shops, restaurants, and the distinctive Town Clock, while the Port of Dubuque provides a more modern riverfront district.

iSimangaliso Wetland Park stretches along the northern KwaZulu-Natal coast from Maphelane to the Mozambique border. It brings together beaches, coral reefs, coastal forests, dunes, lakes, wetlands, estuaries, grasslands, and savanna within one protected landscape. The park is South Africa’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site and includes several separate conservation areas linked by their ecological systems. Its name, iSimangaliso, is an isiZulu word associated with miracles and wonders.

As you cruise along the Orinoco, South America's second-longest river, you will pass an imposing 17th-century fort. Just up the river is Ciudad Guayana, your gateway to Angel Falls. The falls, discovered 60 years ago by American bush pilot Jimmy Angel, are the hightest in the world. More than a half-mile hight and 15 times taller than Niagara Falls, they are undoubtedly one of the world's most breathtaking natural wonders.

It's the largest of the three U.S. Virgin Islands, lying 40 miles south of St. Thomas and St. John. While its history is laced with tales of pirates and privateers, the island today maintains a slower, more quiet pace than its sisters to the north.

Aalborg is the fourth largest city in Denmark and constitutes a natural center for the North Jutland region. In addition Aalborg is Denmark's largest conference center, outside Copenhagen.
